An Adult Family Home (AFH) is a residential care option licensed by Washington State to provide housing and care for up to six adults who need assistance with daily activities. Unlike large nursing facilities, AFHs offer a home-like environment with personalized, family-style care.
We provide comprehensive care including assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming), medication management, mobility support, meal preparation, memory care support, and companionship. Each resident receives a personalized care plan tailored to their specific needs.
Absolutely! We encourage family involvement and have flexible visiting hours. Your family member's room is their home, and we want you to feel welcome whenever you visit. We only ask that you coordinate visits during meal times and medical appointments.
All our caregivers are thoroughly vetted, background-checked, and trained according to Washington State requirements. Many hold additional certifications and years of experience in elder care. Most importantly, we select caregivers for their compassion and genuine dedication to resident wellbeing.
We care for a maximum of six residents at a time. This low resident-to-caregiver ratio ensures every person receives individualized attention that larger facilities often cannot provide.
